Imagination in Music
- a school residency that develops creativity
A WindSync "Imagination in Music" residency is a multi-faceted program involving between two and four 45 minute classroom workshops and a final performance over the course of one week. Lead by the five young, mentor musicians in WindSync with assistance from classroom teachers and administrators, classroom workshops are recommended for 30 students in each (maximum 50) and provide an depth exploration of musical ideas and themes in line with the fine arts standards from the TEKS. To conclude the residency, WindSync performs a concert assembly for up to 600 students including exciting interactive elements. In the performance, students who participated in WindSync classroom workshops will help demonstrate important musical concepts creating a deep appreciation and sharing of knowledge throughout the whole school.

Final Performance
The music that students dissected in each class will then be put together in the form of a fun concert lasting approximately an hour and a half which additionally includes a school wide question and answer. In the concert, the students who participated in the activity preparation will help to relay what they learned to the rest of the school when their respective pieces are performed.
